You don't have to use object oriented methodology in actionscript 3 but it might be worth learning. Here is source code for a chemotaxis animation. Download three files chemotax01.as, chemotax01.fla, and bacteria.as, and put them into a folder. Then open all three in Flash. Press apple / return to build an swf file as before. More explanation of what these three files are should be forthcoming.
